It was a day of new beginnings and celebration as the Blues played Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.

Mykhailo Mudryk made his much-anticipated Chelsea debut, looking lively in his brief 2nd half outing. Exciting fans with his pace and finesse – it is a hint of things to come from the young Ukrainian.

It was also a landmark day for our captain, César Azpilicueta, who made his 500th Chelsea appearance. The Spaniard joins Ron Harris, Peter Bonetti, John Terry, Frank Lampard and John Hollins on the list of players to play in 500 matches for the Blues.

The close match ended 0-0 with both sides battling hard to break the deadlock to no avail.
