Soccer gamers have been busy recently. On September 30, EA Sports released their last installment of the FIFA series, FIFA 23. Less than a month later, Sports Interactive put out the beta version of Football Manager 2023.

Unlike FIFA’s beta versions, Football Manager fans can continue saves they begin in the beta phase. Because of this, the engagement has been impressive. Three days after the beta version became accessible, Football Manager announced on their Twitter page that 2.3 million goals have been scored. On social media, content creators have been informing fellow gamers and potential customers on tactics, training methods, recruitment policies, clubs to use and so much more.

But if you’re a Football Manager fan then you know the best part of the game is the database discoveries. The game has been known to unearth wonderkids for decades and this year is no different.

Endrick tops Football Manager 2023 potential list

So far, the crown jewel of Football Manager 2023 is Brazilian forward Endrick. The youngster plays for the three-time Copa Libertadores champions, Palmeiras. When you start a save, Endrick is 15 turning 16 in a few weeks. Because of Brazil’s policy, footballers cannot sign a professional contract with a European club until they’re 18. Therefore, players are unable to utilize his services until 2024. However, he is worth the wait and should be a priority in every window.

YouTube channel FM Scout made a video showing how to maximize his abilities. At the age of 34, Endrick scores over 800 goals, receives 13 Ballon d’Ors and becomes the consensus as the greatest player of all time.

In reality, he became the youngest player to debut for Palmeiras’ first team on October 6. Almost three weeks later, Endrick becomes the youngest player to score in his club’s history at 16 years and 96 days. His debut goal was an unlikely finish. He used his slight 5’8 frame to get into the 18-yard box unmarked and scored a header.

Before his professional debut, he helped his academy teams win seven different competitions. He first appeared on the soccer world’s radar by leading Brazil to a 2022 Montaigu Tournament triumph. The competition is an under-16 event where clubs and nations compete against each other in France. Legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo, Carlos Tevez and 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema also made their marks in the contest. Since then, he’s been linked to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and every major club in Europe. There is a belief that he has a release clause of $60 million. If triggered, it would make Endrick the most expensive South American teenager of all time.
